Course Description

Washington Laboratories Academy is kicking off 2014 with this full day review of things you need to qualify your product for various markets. Many standards are applied depending on the specific product and market but many harmonized standards are used throughout – some with country deviations.

We invite you to join us for an overview of the testing requirements for modern systems. We have developed this one-day event to cover the essentials of compliance with requirements for modern electronic systems. Most products that are developed for the US domestic, international or DoD procurements must meet one, two, three or all four of these compliance specialties.

We are delighted that Mr. Bill Burwell with the US Export Assistance Center (USEAC) of the US Department of Commerce Commercial Service has agreed to provide information on product export assistance available from the Commercial Service.

The Commercial Service has a network of export and industry specialists located in more than 100 U.S. cities and over 80 countries worldwide. These trade professionals provide counseling and a variety of products and services to assist small and midsized U.S. businesses export their products and services.

Specific services include: International Sales & Marketing, International Financing, International Logistics, Licenses & Regulations and Trade Data & Analysis.

This is an opportunity to refresh your knowledge of the standards and methods, learn new material to help your design and development efforts or investigate the hows and whys of product compliance testing plus learn about the valuable assistance on marketing your product internationally.
