WLL Evaluation Procedure:
When a request for certification is received, an e-mail is sent to our reviewers indicating a new application will be submitted. Application is assigned, reviewed for administrative concerns then reviewing body performs technical review. Any requests for information is sent to the client and given 60 days to respond. Once all information is satisfactory, the application is referred to the Certification Body with the recommendation for Certification. Certification Body reviews application and, if satisfactory, WLL issues a Type Examination Certificate to client.
WLL Procedure for Maintaining records, reduction of certification, extending certification:
Maintenance of Certification is predicated on continuing compliance with the requirements of the applicable certification agreement Terms and Conditions.
Reduction of Certification will be determined after a review of any client communications that indicate that the Reduction of Certification may be warranted. An example of this may be when a client supplies information regarding modifications to a Certified device. WLL may, at that time, review the modification to determine if a Reduction of the Scope of Certification is necessary.
Extending of Certification will be determined after a review of any client communications that indicate that the Extending of Certification may be warranted. An example of this may be when a client supplies information regarding modifications to a Certified device. WLL may, at that time, review the modification to determine if an Extension of the Scope of Certification is necessary.
WLL Procedure for Withdrawal, Suspension, Cancellation or Refusal of Certification:
WLL shall maintain the right to suspend, withdraw or cancel any certification it has issued as follows:
Withdrawal of Certification:
Withdrawal of certification shall apply to but shall not be limited to:
- Intentional misuse of certification
- WLL being placed in a position of disrepute due to misuse, false advertisement, etc.
- Devices that are shown to be non-compliant or in continued violation of standards to which certification applies.
- General or specific violation of the license agreement.
Suspension of Certification:
When certification is suspended, the supplier shall make no misleading claims as to the status of the certification. Upon the date of formal notice of suspension, the supplier shall cease the use of the certificate. Under suspension, potentially defective certified products shall be subject to recall where appropriate.
Cancellation of Certification:
Cancellation of Certification occurs when: A written request to cancel the certificate has been provided by the licensee.
Refusal of Certification:
WLL, Ltd. reserves the right to refuse services for which it is not Accredited to perform.

Test Reports and Test Data Acceptance for Certification
WLL’s certification process determines whether test reports and test data, as submitted by applicants/customers, can be accepted for the purpose of certification for the following Recognizing or Regulatory Authority certification schemes:
The issue of an EU-type examination certificate by the Notified Body for the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU
The issue of an EU-type examination certificate by the Notified Body for the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU
WLL provides equipment Type Equipment Certificate.
Under the regulatory schemes listed above, WLL reviews and provides Type Equipment Certificate for approved applications submitted to WLL. The technical expertise provided by the reviewers and technical staff ensures that test reports and applications submitted will comply with the necessary technical and administrative requirements under the Applicable Recognizing or Regulatory Authority regulation scheme.
Personnel assigned to the Review and Certification Body process are qualified to perform the tasks for the specific evaluation. Personnel will not be assigned if they have been involved in, or been employed by a body involved in, the design, manufacture, supply, installation, purchasing, owning, use or maintenance of such products in a manner and within a 6-month time period that could conflict with impartiality, confidentiality or objectivity. Personnel assigned applications they should not review will immediately inform managements for reassignment.
Submissions to WLL are reviewed according to approved parties Administrative and Technical Review Procedures. The Review and Certification Body processes are used to ensure that submitted applications meet the required acceptance criteria for Certification or Conformity Assessment under Applicable regulations.
Applications can be withdrawn under the following situations: customer requests cancellation by submitting in writing; Recognizing or Regulatory Authority (RRA) sends notification to WLL that the approval has been withdrawn, due to apparent inconsistencies with applicable standards.
WLL will close applications after 60 days if additional required files are not received for the certification effort, Request for Technical information (RT’s) or surveillance audits. No refunds will be given if WLL has begun the work. All applicable documentation is stored within the application on WLL’s internal network.
