NEW
WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY CALLS ON THE DOGS |
Combining
a proprietary algorithm and newly-allocated spectrum
designated by the FCC for Mammalian Communications,
RoverSense Technologies in San Luis Obispo CA
has received the first Certification for
cross-species wireless communications. The system
employs directed-energy, high gain, phase-modulated
signals. Operating at the same frequency as used for
microwave ovens, the system replaces a normal dog
collar and soaks the canine’s brain with RF focused
by the natural “ring” around the dog’s neck.

ADDICTED TO DRY ERASE MARKERS

Add Red, Green and Blue to Workplace Hazards |
Researchers
at the Delaware Institute of Advanced Studies
have found that the excessive use of whiteboard
sessions can lead to an addiction to Dry-Erase
type of markers. In a study of 190 offices across
New England, it was found that a troubling 36% of
engineers who use the Dry-Erase markers were getting
hooked on the fragrant aroma of certain types of
markers.

GHOSTLY FAREWELL

One last hurrah for TV Ghosts
|

With the advent of
the Digital TV rollout this June, a final
farewell dinner of TV Ghosts was held at the
Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia this past
Saturday. After June 12th of this year, assuming the
FCC maintains the present course and the nations
analog TV stations go dark, TV ghosts will largely
be a thing of the past.
