ENVIRONMENTAL
UPDATE: Partnership and Vietnam Program
Announced |

Washington
Laboratories is pleased to announce our
affiliation with the
Maryland-Asia Environmental Partnership.
WLL is a founding member of the MDAEP, an
organization dedicated to solving Asia's
environmental issues by focusing the technology and
organizational resources of the United States on
air, water and
climate change challenges in Asia .
The
MDAEP's 2009
Environmental Leadership Series
highlights industry, private- and public-sector
efforts to improve the quality of life for millions
of Asia's citizens. The lessons that we all are
learning in the US apply to the developing world.
Environmental health is more than a
quality-of-life issue - it translates to a higher
level of business engagement, political and economic
stability and the opportunity for US companies to
gain access to overseas markets. As the developing
countries become increasingly more sophisticated,
the need for US technology broadens across the
spectrum, from
manufacturing processes to health care and
professional services. This creates the opportunity
for US business.
Washington Laboratories will host
The Future for
Environmental Business Opportunities in Vietnam
in May. This event will discuss
Vietnam's evolution as a developing economy, some of
the struggles and challenges and how best to prepare
for entry into that dynamic country. Contact: Mike
Violette
