Mike Violette
is Director and founder of ACB and Washington Laboratories. He
has overseen the development of product testing regimens,
compliance and certification for over 20 years. He has worked as
principal engineer and Director of processes for laboratories
and certification bodies and has overseen the expansion of ACB's
operations in Asia. As the
founder of ACB, Espresso Engineering and the WL Academy, Mike is
committed to bringing technical expertise and knowledge to the
compliance industry.
Michael Derby is a regulatory review engineer and responsible for operations in ACB in Europe. He has been involved in many aspects of EMC and Radio compliance for over 20 years. He has worked as an EMC and Radio test engineer and has been Leader of a Radio test laboratory. Michael has been an active member of ETSI and contributed to the creation of EN standards. He is now a Notified Body for the R&TTE and EMC Directives, a TCB for the FCC and an FCB for Industry Canada. He presently contributes to the TCB Council and the R&TTCA, providing liaison services between these two organizations. Michael is a member of the TCB Council Board of Directors. In addition to being a regulatory review engineer and technical advisor, Michael is also responsible for ACB’s training program.
Confidence and Experience Our Lecturers have a
wealth of experience and information in the field of product
testing and certification and will share their perspective and
insight on the regulations and evolving requirements for
electronic and radio frequency systems. The goal of this
seminar is to present the latest information on the evolving
requirements and to give attendees better understanding of the
processes and procedures for approving equipment.
